The Jerusalem Light Rail is finally running! After 7 long years of mismanagement, embezzlement and pure chaos. Now its running 2 weeks free of charge. Crowds of families wait eagerly at the stations for the free ride .... typical.

The City is still tense though not as before. Next Tuesday night is the last day of Ramadan. Expect some happenings! I want to get away.



The weather is 33 degrees today, sunny and dry. Lips are cracking. Everyone is shielding themselves from the blazing sun with hats and veils. I guess a ride in the train would just be great ... it's air-conditioned.
