And my nose just bled again as I was typing. Strange goings on. Feels like the body is falling apart.
The weather has warmed up, and the rain clouds have blown away. Crowds of tourists are coming back after last week's shootout in my area. Hopefully common sense and peace will return to our very disturbed neighbourhood. Succoth ended yesterday with the feast of Simchat Torah (the joy of the Torah) - which I always compare with our Bible Sunday. Now with no more feasts (jewish, muslim or christian) these weeks, we can expect some peace and quiet.
I was particularly happy that Damian of Molokai and Jeanne Jugan were canonised. Next month a local arab nun who founded the Sisters of the Rosary will be beatified. A few more saints in heaven to pray for us.
By the way the weekday readings have switched from the prophets to the letters of Paul. I'm trying to figure out why.
