All is "calm"..... while rioting continues

More riots yesterday. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1119115.html# and http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1119122.html and the ironical Jerusalem Post article headlined "Calm.." and "no unusual incidents" then goes on to describe a 16 yr old arab stabbing a soldier, arab youths burning debris through the night, jews get stoned by arabs on the Mt of Olives. Actually that article reflects what local society is like - all that violence is normal. That's life here. One thing to note in these few days rioting, alot of the violence is now caused by youths between 13 yrs to 19 yrs, much younger than before.

Frankly many of us here in the Old City, I mean locals, believe the 3rd Intifida has started.
