Jerusalem Knights

Went out to get some medicine and also to see the Jerusalem Knights event in the Christian Quarter last night. The streets were packed. Here're some pics.

Though not part of the official events, many creative artists joined in at various side-streets, like this man with a wind-up music box.

This street corner next to Casa Nova has knights fighting dragons .... well, we never got to see the dragons but there were lots of knights.

 and a court jester juggling balls; and more musicians ....



and here is where it all begins - Jaffa Gate, where a "muslim" introduces the events and two stilt-walking  performers welcome the people to Medieval Jerusalem.
