Elusive snow

It's supposed to snow today. But at 7am the sun was shining brightly like summer and the sky was blue. I emphatically stated to everyone that it's unlikely it'll snow. Then suddenly at 9am the sky changed, it became dark and started raining. Temperature fell drastically. Could probably snow later on! But at 1pm the sun was back up and the rains stopped. It's still terribly cold though, like 4 degrees. Forecast says it'll drop to -2 degrees tonight or tomorrow.

Today is the feast of St. Blaise, the patron of throat ailments. Fr Lino the celebrant for Mass blessed us with the traditional blessing - two crossed candles placed over the throat of each one. Maybe this will cure my asthma.
