5th Sunday of Lent

Yesterday was calm in the Old City ... tense but calm. But riots took place outside the Old City. Two youths were killed by rubber bullets, and probably there'll be retaliatory attacks in the next few days. http://www.jpost.com/Israel/Article.aspx?id=171426

A volcano erupts in Iceland; earthquake in Fiji and the Indian Ocean, Papua New Guinea (6.2 richter) ... all within 24 hours. Armageddon is at hand?

The Greek Orthodox community is perturbed - not only was the body of the late Greek Cypriot President stolen and ransom was demanded, today the bodies of two Archbishops were also stolen and held at ransom. They're angry at the greed for money that has led people to do these things.
