| Lots of police cars at Damascus Gate |
It's Friday and it's the muslim feast of Laylat al Miraj. That's when Mohammad fly on a flying horse from Mecca to Jerusalem and from the Dome of the Rock, rose to heaven. The Old City was packed with muslim pilgrims especially from Turkey and Indonesia. Security is high as you never know among the crowds of foreigners there might be a local hiding among them, planning to cause trouble. Our Muslim Quarter was patrolled by lots of military police. It can get quite scary.
In the Gaza-Israeli border, more violence were reported. The worst scenario is when extremists in the south join Syria and attack on both the northern and southern fronts ... then that will be a big problem. But the Israeli Defense Force is ready for anything. We don't doubt it's capabilities. It will deal a deadly blow both to the south that Egypt could do nothing about, and the north which has been a constant threat. It's about time all these are resolved once and for all.

| Prata & curry |
I had to rest yesterday after a whole morning's work in the library and correcting term papers. My body just couldn't go any further. So for 2 hours I slept ... no lunch. I needed it so much. It was like my body just collapsed. At 4pm I woke up to rushed for confession and adoration at the MC sisters. Then it was going 5 kms away to a hotel to meet a group from Shanxi at 7pm. Finished my talk with them and got back to my library at 9.30pm. Time for my first meal of the day. The MC sisters had cooked some part and potato curry ... nice and simple. My tummy had been upset the past 2 days and I had eaten only one meal a day. It was a nice meal ... I like it very much.
Then it was walking back home in the strange cold weather .... 9 degrees at night. Everything in the weather is so strange ... nothing constant or normal ... almost like a cosmic premonition that something bad will happen. A cosmic warning.
