A little peace ...

A day after the marches, tensions and scuffles in the Old City, a stock-check of happenings is being reported. 15 arrests, provocations inside the Temple Mount (Dome of the Rock esplanade), 5 thousand marchers ... the list goes on. Nevertheless police are satisfied there was less violence than last year. http://www.jpost.com/NationalNews/Article.aspx?id=270738  So things begin to settle down hopefully as the hot summer begins ... at least until Ramadan in July and Sukkot in September.

As yesterday's violence over Jerusalem Day march across East Jerusalem subsided, we learn of violence in the settlements;  When will this senseless and lawless violence end?   http://www.jpost.com/DiplomacyAndPolitics/Article.aspx?id=270757

A little hideaway
Oblivious to all of yesterday's happenings  is a turtle-dove who made a nest on our jasmine trellis - it's little oasis of peace and security. It's pretty precarious sitting on just several twigs ... but so is the peace and harmony in this land. All it takes is just one twig to snap ... and everything comes tumbling down.
