Yesterday

Yesterday was the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, and therefore the feastday of our school secretary Bro. Rosario. He was in hospital the last 2 days for an operation on his knee and came home for his feastday limping. Anyway we had a nice celebration.

Yesterday was also the first day of lessons and most students have returned and started their work; reserving their seats in the library especially.

I had another chat with Fr Niccacci on my research and I think I've hit on something new - wow, it's awesome but that means I have to prove my position against bigtime mainstream scholars who hold another view. It's like fighting against the current. Fr Niccacci also wants me to audit for his Hebrew language courses - that means an added 6 hours of school for me each week.

Yesterday we had a nice surprise as well. Ronza our library assistent returned to work after a long break. She brought her baby Francis along and many of us came down to the school to see him. He is a very strong baby while only being 8 months old.

The Missionaries of Charity are coming today to collect more of the warm packs for Gaza. The cold has set in, and the poor people who cannot afford electricity are going to need them now.
