Of foxes and Facebook

Scavenging fox
It's Tuesday and usually in summer, I go to Bethlehem to give the MC sisters (Mother Teresa) a talk in the morning. Today however there was no need as it's the triduum for the feast day of the MC society. Each community in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nablus and Gaza have their own preachers on these 3 days. Their feast day is on August 22nd which is Thursday this year.

My Facebook page has been hacked for the past week. Messages and photos have been sent from my FB messenger address to people which I have never sent. Now someone removed my photos of foxes on the Mt. of Olives .... I have to repost the photos again.

Yes talking about foxes ... these shy nocturnal creatures are showing up at daytime ... and not just one but whole packs. Something must be disturbing them so that they're coming out scavenging in garbage dumps and killing small livestock. It could be the drought and heat ... or as the rabbis say ... it's a sign that the Messiah is coming.

Well my wallet that was missing for the past 2 months ... I finally found them. But I lost my passport this morning after going out to several places. Panic. Luckily someone remembered seeing me putting it in my bag ... so after searching it for the 3rd time, I found it. My memory is hopeless now. I guess my eyesight is going as well.

I guess I'll rest early tonight ... summer slows down the old and sick.
