Ear infection

New Gate re-illuminated
Thanks to Auntie Yvonne I had 2 of the best chiffon cakes I've eaten in years. It was very nice and light. And thanks  to everyone else for their gifts. Appreciate that. Several days back I met a large group of 160 Singaporeans who came with Pastor Prince. All they could talk to me about was Singaporean food. Nostalgia.

My ear infection is hurting me very much. Though the pain in the nights are much less ... because I've learnt not to move my head when I sleep ... daytime is much more difficult. I get very dixxc and am not very stable on my feet. And the pain is bad. If I lie down, it feels like I'm floating. I guess I should go to the hospital but the walk there, and the heat, and the cost ... I think it's better to rest at home.

It's official: this year is a drought year. Water levels have dropped drastically and now the govt has declared a drought year so taxes on water will rise and maybe there might even be cuts in water supply.    http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4957372,00.html

Comboni sisters with bedouins
There's a catholic news floating in the Internet about 2 Comboni sisters running a school for bedouin children in the south of Israel. Very brave. The bedouins are badly neglected in the fields of education and medicine. And because they are spread throughout the desert region it is difficult to gather them all together. So to solve the space divide, the 2 sisters open 7 schools throughout the desert. Very inspiring story. The article is in italian though.  http://www.chiediloaloro.it/storie/2017/suor-agnese/
