The sheer hypocrisy of it all: hundreds killed in bomb attacks in Istanbul, Baghdad, and Dhaka the last week but not a single tweet or Facebook movement of "Je suis ..." like we saw for Paris, Brussels and Charlie Abdo. Now yesterday's shooting of 5 white policemen in America has drawn an immediate "We stand with Dallas" tweet/Facebook movement. Yes it's obvious only white lives matter .... the majority of people are racist, prejudiced and fatally ignorant.

Christian arab israelis (arab christians born in Israel and hold Israeli citizenship) have increasing been volunteering to do military service. A good sign. A thousand years of persecution under the muslims have opened the eyes of the arab christians who see better protection and benefits under the Israelis. But this has made the muslim arabs angry with arab christians, accusing the latter of treason. Arab christians on the other hand try to distant themselves from the violent muslim population and have been granted the racial title "aramean" instead of "arab". Muslims have now begun threatening christian families whose sons and daughters have joined the Israeli army. To protect the christians, a bill has been passed that will punish by jail-time anyone who threatens christian arab soldiers or their families. I think this is good. Very good.

Another series of unhappy news: Israeli soldiers shot dead a Down Syndrome arab youth, and fleeing. No one was arrested nor an investigation made.
