So say Sr. Aquila (left) and Sr. Vicenta (right)
It was a lovely moon last night, but heavy laden by threatening grey and purple clouds; columns of smoke rising from various districts that see rioting, sporadic bursts of stun grenades and shouts. It was frighteningly silent throughout the night ... except for our backdor neighbour who decided to do some construction work (illegal apparently) throughout the night till morning in the hope that the police are so busy chasing rioters they have no time to care for illegal construction. I'm suffering from the splurge of yesterday's festive lunch (reunion lunch of chinese religious in Jerusalem). I had fried rice, fried noodles, then back home I had an ice-cream cone. Bad bad bad for diabetes. I got terribly sick after that - nausea, diarrhea and blurred vision. What a way to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival .... sick in bed.
