Sad week in Israel

Talk about violence. This week there's been an unsettling rise of it here in Israel. The shooting of Islamic extremists by Hamas; rioting by the ultra-orthodox yesterday. Now get a load of these: Body parts found floating in the Alexander River http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1107727.html; a beach goer gets beaten to death http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1107646.html; two soldiers killed in 36 hours during training ; a General of an elite corp gets robbed of his gun and credit cards under tight security http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1107748.html ....... morale and pride in Israel is low right now http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1107728.html Hopefully the coming New Year and Yom Kippur will change things around.
