Mermaid in Haifa

By the way, if you haven't heard : ther's a mermaid living in the sea off Haifa (northern Israel). The municipality is offering US$1 million to anyone who can prove it exists. Apparently people living in Kiryat Yam have seen it and vouch for its existance. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1107034.html Haifa is a modern port city with its famous Bahai Gardens. It was here that the prophet Elijah stayed for a while and where the Carmelites have their huge monastery.
