| Pigeons showering |
I've been studying various parks and the variety of birds that share that space. Independence Park, though bigger and has a fountain, is taken over by parrots and crows. No sparrows or bulbuls so it's unsafe to release my 3 rescues there. The best bet is still Damascus Gate Park. There're sparrow, bulbuls and many other types of smaller birds that are less threatening. Also it means there's food and water that's why the smaller birds are around. This morning on my way to work I saw the sprinklers splashing water on the hot grass, and pigeons and sparrows were showering beneath the sprays of cool water. Tomorrow morning might just be the day the 3 bulbuls fly free.
