Colourful summer fruit

So the big news in the street is not about the war in the north or in Gaza but Trump's redoubling on the Charlottesville tragedy. What a drama!!! It's not a question of Republican or Democrat, rich or poor, migrant or indigenous ... it's about character and personality ... something which Trump doesn't have. What a clown ... utterly inept, unfit and would do anything for applause. I've seen circus elephants and sealions do better than Trump. Haaahahahahahahaha ... well all I can say is: America you voted him ... you deserve him. Live with that!!!

As for me, I'm more ready to live with an event like the ISIS suicide bomber at the Gaza border killing a Hamas officer than with Trump as president because at least the former is predictable .... the latter is not only unpredictable, he's a mystery even he himself can't fathom.  http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-5004007,00.html

With all the weird things coming out from America these few days .... there's actually one weird thing that I am looking forward to - the film Inhumans. It should premier on Sept. 1st but here in Israel it'll probably arrive half a year later ... if it gets the kosher certificate. What a lot of entertainment we're getting out of the USA.

Meanwhile besides the good laugh we're all enjoying over the US presidential circus, we're enjoying the luscious summer fruit. This year's plums and peaches and figs are exceptionally large. The open market at Damascus Gate is full of bedouin women selling these fruit ... and also prickly pears (the fruit of cactus). Nice to have something sweet in a hot summer's day.
