Social protests abounded in Tel Aviv yesterday evening ... ranging from compulsory military enlistment for ultra-orthodox jews to the rise of VAT (up to 17%) and prices of daily foods (up and over US$1) to the imminent war with Iran. Jerusalem saw a much smaller gathering of protesters.
