Sirens (updated)

Sirens have suddenly sounded here in Jerusalem. Students from the school opposite are being herded out of classes. No one knows what is happening. Is it a memorial siren? We know nothing about a memorial.  and it's the war siren that sounded, not the religious siren. War? No sign of anything in the skies. Practice dry run? Whatever it is, it sure drew some panic.

Having spoken to the rest of the people around here, it was almost unanimous that everyone thought a missile from Iran was launched against Israel. Everyone panicked for the first few seconds. I had my survival pack ready. But now we think it was a practice run for the real thing. It was exactly at 10am that the sirens sounded - not the Sabbath sirens but the really loud sirens that indicate missile attacks and run-for-cover. Funny though, that we were not informed of this. I don't find it anywhere in the newspapers and others said it was not announced on the radio.
