attention!

As part of the Pauline celebrations this year, I'm starting a free online course on the letters of St. Paul. It's done in conjunction with the Catholic Bible Foundation of South Africa. Like all such courses, it requires your own initiative to do the readings and reflections. It's suitable for group sharings as well. But you need an invitation to join in. It will be hosted by our Duns Scotus Bible Centre. Only 100 places are available, so write me at gyclionel@gmail.com if you want to join. The website is called "Paul of Tarsus".

Our "Under the Fig Tree" website has only 20 more places left. This website is to help you reflect on the coming Sunday's readings; a wonderful preparation for the Sunday liturgy of the Word. It's more a Lectio Divina exercise. On the side column I've also added the Jewish Torah readings and reflection of the synagogue Sabbath service. Great insights into how the Jews understand their scriptures - but remember, it's a Jewish reading, not Christian. This column is meant to widen your biblical horizons and get to know better our Jewish brothers and sisters. So last 20 places left! Who wants to join in better write me now!
