The weather has turned drastically cold again ... with no rain or wind. It was down to 1 degree this morning. The rest of the day was just as cold.

I can just imagine the cold in Syria which is further north. We're receiving news that bodies continue to lay in the streets. ISIS that controls those villages where our Franciscans have missions, do not allow us to bury the dead. They just sent a video to me ... dead bodies in a hospital I think ... all lying on the floor. Awful. 

Let's continue to pray for all of the victims. Our Patriarch has told us to fast and make penance for this tragedy. We also pray the rosary as a community for this. Join us spiritually. And if you wish to help us financially, please write to holylandassist.blogspot.com for more details.
