Health news

Damascus Gate hawkers
Yesterday I had my appointment with my surgeon ... finally. There were followup tests and then the consultation with the doctor. It was revealed that one major artery was repaired but there are many more small blood vessels that could not be repaired and so that I'm not totally ok, nor will I ever be. For sure I'm better than before but with many other vessels affected, I will be slower, easily fatigued, more pain.

I had to take prednisone 10 days back as I had an issue with my breathing. I hate having to take it because the side effects are awful. I had the usual depression, swollen fingers and withdrawal symptoms from taking that drug. But it's efficient in dealing with my breathing problems.

The weather has warmed up abit during the day (18 degrees) but the nights are still chilly at 7 degrees. The rains have stopped and the sun is shining brightly. And the air is clean and crisp after the several days of rain. I'd love to go out for a walk and breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the sunshine ... but somehow I'm mostly at home because walkign distances and ascents are still a major problem for me.
