Christmas altar

Another chilly day despite the sun shining brightly. Daylight is much shorter. By 4.30pm it's dark. Shops close early and people prefer to stay indoors to keep warm.

Christmas shops have been jacking up the prices. Sure inflation is hitting everything hard. But when a 3 shekel candle is now 10 shekels, that's too much. I think some of these shop owners are taking advantage of Christians. I'm resorting to battery operated candles. It's reusable and cost effective in the long run.

Meantime Covid is spreading so fast the govt is thinking of mandating wearing masks indoors. I'm all for it. My library is closed today for disinfecting because two of my volunteers are tested positive. I've been told to stay away from work as my resistance is very low right now.
