Sunset

Hadassah Hospital is paralysed by strikes from all quarters. And of course it's all about money. Pity that this world class private hospital with it's innovative medical services is going down that road. http://www.haaretz.com/news/national/.premium-1.573396

And the rabbis are on the warpath again .... this time they are fighting against Whatsapp ... the phone app. http://www.haaretz.com/jewish-world/jewish-world-news/1.573371  The rabbis are very much on their toes.

Ecce Homo Arch at sunset
The sprained ankle is doing well as long as I don't walk. The moment I stand up and put weight on the foot, it hurts. A good excuse to rest, right? No way ... it's work as usual. the swollen fingers, bloated tummy, skin rashes and general tiredness are all on the roll.

Now there was a fantastic sunset yesterday that took my mind off the sprained ankle. The sun was directly shining from behind the bellfry of St Saviour's Monastery 1 km away uphill, and it was framed by the Ecce Homo Arch. The play of light and shadows was amazing ... almost like an 18th century painting.
