Fr. Emmanuele Testa R.I.P.

Just received news that my former professor Fr. Emmanuele Testa OFM had just died this morning. He was a scholar - fearless of controversy. His research and results stirred academic circles. A larger than life character; Fr Testa was cameoed as a novice who aided to save Jews in Nazi-occupied Italy in the film "Assisi Underground" - a real life fact, it is attested. Another giant is gone.

Eternal life grant unto him, O Lord; and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
