The attack on the Pope was pretty scary. Saw that on TV? It sure sends shivers down local ecclesiastical circles to know breaches in security are so easy. Death or injury is just a split second away.

Midnight Mass at Shepherds' Field was unbelievable. Simply packed with groups of people from all over the world. Bethlehem too was packed with people. The March for Peace took place before Midnight Mass and the groups of marchers climbed up the hill to the Nativity Basilica with candles and torches.

Please know that for the past two days, all the people that you are helping through your generosity are praying for you here in the Holyland. You are not alone this Christmas .... your Holyland beneficiaries are with you.
