Fr Vincenzo is having problems going online because the line is an old, dial-up system and is occupied mainly by the students. He can only use it late in the night, if at all possible. Anyway he has this to say: (words in red are mine)

The information regarding the bank account is correct (some of you wrote to say it's incorrect and cannot transfer donations to Musky). In any case, we have managed to salvage US$3,000 which is a huge sum here, to make the most essential repairs on the collapsed house so that there will be no danger of a future collapse (near future anyway). We will see what we can do later. Another family that lives under a staircase, we intend to give US$500 to build 4 walls around a balcony so it can become a room with more privacy - provided permission is gotten.

So guys, I know the economic crunch is bad but I also know your hearts are bigger than that. Spare a thought for the poor and help Fr Vincenzo. Thanks.
