All Souls Day

Yesterday was All Saints Day and we were all reminded by the 2nd reading that we too are called to be saints in our own small simple way. Easier said than done. But that's the challenge.

Nerves must be getting on me as operation day draws near. Was pretty nervous and down yesterday ... in fact extremely. Some terribly unjust thing was dumped on me as well .... My two best friends decided to take me on a walk. We sat down on Mamilla Promenade and spoke and drank. It was very quiet ... as Sabbath set in. And it was freezing cold. It was good of them to be with me. I needed that.

Then its All Souls Day today. Lucky for the dead ... no more suffering injustice. Remembered all the souls who have passed on ... friends, relatives and benefactors during Mass.
