What would you do?

Last night's asthma attack was big time - 3am or abouts. Couldn't breathe one bit. Finally took a walk on the terrace to clear the fluids in the lungs. Just as well because the town-criers were up and about banging their drums and shouting for everyone to wake up and eat before the fast begins.

The moon is waning and the air gets very cold in the early morning. I leave for the Convent of the Sisters of Ivrea at 5.30am. Usually after Mass at 6.30am they serve a little breakfast like yogurt, bread and cheese with coffee. I usually grab the bread and cheese and eat them along the walk home. But now it's Ramadan and even none muslims are not allowed to eat in the open, so I have to gulp my stuff before I leave the convent walls. I don't see us christians forcing other religions to fast with us during Lent...... so why are they forcing us?

Spoke with the guys at home here about how I was attacked. It surfaced that two other priests were attacked by the same arab shop keeper. And he comes into our monastery to assault us. The receptionist also showed me the dustbins and other things he broke in our house before he attacked me. I say that scum has to be resolved. Everyone else here is afraid but I said we can't live in daily fear of him ... not in our own house.... he gets bolder each time because no one stands up to him. What would you do?
