News from Sr. Geronima

What a hot day! The sky is a beautiful blue - but that's the killer! No clouds - so no shade. Even the poor baby canaries are hanging their heads out of their nests to breathe!

I came back from the New City after buying some things for the house, and was so hot and exhausted - Nadia our assustant cook and Sr Vicenta kept laughing at me. Nadia splashed water on my face and Sr Vicenta brought me a bowl of ice-cream to cool off. Oh and talking about sisters - remember Sr. Geronima who was working with us the past 3 years? She's going to make her solemn profession in August - she wrote me an invitation (as if I could go to Poland!!!).
